The Gold Standard of English Cocker Spaniels
Thor was an absolutely amazing field trial gundog while in the United Kingdom. He won over 26 field trial awards including 1st place in the Open Stake at Stuborn in November 2019. Thor's littermate brother, Kiltonbeck Rollo won the 2019 British National Cocker Spaniel Field Trial Championship held at the Duke of Northumberland's Estate, Tollishill. Rollo also sired both the 2nd place winner of the 2022 British National Championship and 1st winner of the 2023 British National Championship. Thor's littermate sister, FTCh Kiltonbeck Helga, is also a field trial champion.
From his performance, Thor was qualified for the 2020 British National Cocker Spaniel Field Trial Championship held on the Faccomble Estate, where he was awarded a Diploma of Merit.
Immediately thereafter, while at the peak of his field trial performance, the COVID pandemic shuttered British Field Trials throughout 2020. In 2021, Thor was selected for the English Inter-Nations CLA Field Trial Competitions as well as the Scottish Scone games international. The English team placed 1st at the CLA, and placed 3rd at the Scottish.
Thor is fully DNA health tested and has already sired offspring winning field trials for Martyn Elliot at Kerdat Gundogs in Great Britain.
